I live in Rochester but visit my family in NYC often. I was riding with my sister on the A train and spotted the subway sculptures as we pulled into a station. I thought to myself that those look like the dog killer’s work up at the Memorial Art Gallery. I was opposed to the MAG spending such a lot of money on large sculptures that look like giant sand dolls. I think that artistically they have little merit but the main thought for me is that the man is a dog killer. I wish the MAG had made a better choice in art and a better choice in an artist.
